Does your site use cookies?
Yes. Our site makes use of something called "cookies" to keep
track of your identity when you place online reservations, request a price quote or check
the status of a reservations. They are in no way harmful or intrusive to your computer or
hard drive. It is simply the most effective way to provide quality service to our

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a very tiny piece of text we're asking permission to place on
your computer's hard drive. If you agree by configuring your browser to accept cookies,
then your browser adds the text in a small file. On most browsers, the default settings
enable you to accept cookies, so if you haven't changed your defaults, you most likely

The
text in a Newport Car & Limousine cookie, by itself, only tells us that you have
visited our site before and automatically fills out forms with information you provided
during a previous visit. It does not store any sensitive information such as Newport
Customer Account Number or Credit Card Information. Any information contained in the
cookie is stored only on your hard drive, and you can delete it at any time.

reservations and price quotes and to enable us to present you with customized content. But
we aren't the only web site that uses cookies. Almost every web site that offers advanced
features such as online ordering and customizable content utilizes cookies. An interesting
point- each web site's cookies are unique, which means that the cookies used by one site
cannot be used by another site.
What if I do not accept the cookie?
If you choose not to accept a cookie you will not be able to use all the
features when placing reservations online, requesting a price quote, checking reservation
status online, or using the Customer Alert feature.
How can I control which cookies I accept?
Your ability to control the cookies you accept depends on the type of
browser you are using.

Explorer 3
If you are using an Internet Explorer 3 version, choose View and then Options on
your top navigation bar. Once in Options, click on the Advanced tab and you will be given
the option to check the box titled "Warn before accepting cookies".
Internet
Explorer 4
If you are using an Internet Explorer 4 version, choose View and then Internet
Options on your top navigation bar. Once in Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab
and scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security. There you will be given
three different options to regulate cookies.
Netscape
Navigator 3
If you are using a Netscape 3 version, you will need to find the cookie file on
your hard drive. Netscape 3.0 groups all cookies into one file on your hard drive.
Therefore to regulate cookies you will need to locate them on your hard drive under the
file cookie.txt on Windows Operating Systems or magiccookie on a Mac.

Communicator 4 to 6
If you are using a Netscape 4 or Netscape 6 version, choose Edit and then Preferences on your top
navigation bar. Once in Preferences, click on Advanced located on the tree. This will give
you four options to regulate cookies.
